In a clip from the film Sentir y gustar you can see how young people lived spirituality last year in a simple and imaginative way through movement and dance, sailing and camping, in silence and in coexistence with Jesuits and Benedictines.
This summer, we are organizing Magis CRO project that will take place from August 12 to 20.
We open applications on May 1st, and in the following sections you can find out more about spirituality experiments that we are planing to organize this year:
PRAY AND WORK – ZADAR
The guardians of Zadar’s gold and silver live in a Benedictine monastery that is situated in the very center of Zadar. The Pray and Work experiment is intended for girls who want to experience life in communion with the Benedictine sisters by following their daily schedule in which work and prayer alternate. Girls who sign up can expect waking up before 6 a.m., participating in prayers, working in the garden on the Smilčić estate, preparing meals, and similar activities that sisters perform every day.
SPIRITUAL EXERCISES IN SILENCE – MODRAVE
Spiritual exercises in silence are an opportunity to stop and move away from your daily obligations, jobs, hustle, roles, and plans. It is a time of solitude and silence in which you can practice how to live in the moment, recognize your desires more clearly, and hear God’s voice louder. Come to Modrave, to the place where God speaks through the sunset, the ripples of the waves, the sound of the wind in the olive trees, the smell of pines, the chirping of crickets, and the starry sky. Come and let Him surprise you!
Participation in spiritual exercises includes one online meeting and pre-exercises before the start of the program. Experience has shown that the pre-exercises help the participants to enter the process of spiritual exercises more easily and qualitatively.
